AEG T76280AC Tumble Dryer Not Heating
Hi Paul, just a short note to say thanks for your video on this model. Wouldn't have stood a chance of repairing my AEG T76280AC tumble dryer without it. One question I have is would you expect the heater to be disabled if there was no humidity sensed in the drum. Having replaced the heater relay (and tested the probes, thermostat and heater) I still couldn't get any heat, but as soon as threw a wet cloth it there, hey presto. Also got a bit lost finding the drum heater probe, but found it by tracing the wiring to the forward fan enclosure. May be worth mentioning this.

Hi Dave, I'm really glad I could help you with the video. If your tumble dryer is on a sensor dry programme, it uses sensors inside the drum to detect humidity levels and activate the heater. However, I believe the heater can also run on a timed sequence without the sensor.
On some models, I've been able to use the tumble dryer on a timed sequence when there was an issue with the humidity sensor, but this might not always work. Anyway, it's great you've sorted your machine. Remember, we're always here to help if you need any further assistance.
