Hi,I have an AEG L7WC8632BI washer dryer.The washing aspect of the machine works.However the drying function starts as normal but shuts off in about 5 mins with the clothes still wet.Although no error code shows, I found the last stored code to be E73.I’ve turned the machine off for 5 mins and then back on. Cleaned the pump etc.I believe the fault is with the NTC thermostat - not detecting the moisture in the drum on the drying cycle. The expanded part diagram shows part 470 but I can’t find this on the machine. I believe the machine has 2 NTC thermostats, can you tell me where they will be located and also the link to the spare parts and any wiring harness with it that could also be faulty.Many thanks!

Hi, sorry to hear about the problem with your AEG washer dryer. I have found some information for you, though I couldn't locate the workshop manual. However, I did find the test procedure for entering the service mode and exploded views of the machine. I also found wiring diagrams to help you trace the wiring.

In the exploded diagram, part 470 is at the front of the ducting unit for the dryer. Let me explain how the system works so you can understand it better. One of the water valves trickles a small amount of water down the condensing plate at the back of the machine. The warm, moist air condenses against this water, and then a pump extracts it out of the machine.

The dryer mainly has a fan motor that blows air through the ducting unit over the heating system. The heating system is controlled by multiple thermostats and NTC sensors in different parts of the machine. In the diagram, thermostat 480 could be a cutoff or cycling thermostat, and sensor 471 also plays a crucial role. If any of these become faulty, it can affect the drying process, sometimes without showing an error on the machine.

I haven't found specific information about your error code yet. Any new information I find over the next few weeks will be added to this page. I've also included some videos associated with your brand. There are a few variations of your machine, so you'll need to use the PNC number when obtaining parts. I've provided links to help you get parts for this machine, which are usually in stock.
