AEG L61271WDBI Washer Dryer’s Drying Mode Is Not Working

Fault being the AEG L61271WDBI washer dryer works fin, but its when drying mode is activated the machine thinks its drying but not heating is produced to go through the cycle, but without drying the clothes.Spoke to Paul on the phone, he said he would get me the schematics for this washer dryer.

Hi, if your machine washes correctly and goes through the spin cycle without issues, but you face problems during the drying process, here's what to check. When the machine is tumbling from left to right, you should hear a fan running. If you use a multimeter on the heating element, it should show 240 volts. If you don't have a multimeter, you can buy a new one via our affiliate link.

Several issues can occur with washer dryers. Blockages in the condensing plate at the back can cause overheating and blow thermal fuses. Ensure this area is clear. Check that the fan is turning at the correct speed and that there’s no debris in the ducting system along the top.

I've got the workshop manual for your machine, along with the wiring diagram and exploded views to help you out. You'll need to work through it step by step, as diagnosing the problem via email is almost impossible without seeing the machine. It took some time to get these, so I hope they help you. Have a close look at page 83 in the one manual this is a common fault.
